Looking down on Lynmouth

A view of Lynmouth as we approached the final destination of our 116 mile 'Two Moors Way' walk from Wembury on the South Devon Coast to Lynmouth on North Devon.  It was a delightful walk for the weather was again very warm and sunny.  We climbed up into Exmoor from Simonsbath crossing some of the remotest areas of these Moors. We found the source of the River Exe again, having visited there on a previous journey and reached the highest peaks on Exmoor.  Eventually we arrived close to Lynmouth with wonderful views across the Bristol Channel to Wales, see extras.

A satisfying 11 mile walk with tea and cake in Lynmouth and then champagne to celebrate at the end of this long distance path..
