Wild Flower

I have never seen this wild flower before, we stopped along the road side to admire the colour of the Spring flowers which are still in abundance, we spotted this one which grew from one single stem, it was growing through the gravel at the side of the road, i have scoured the internet for a name, also looked through all my wild flower books around W.A as yet i have yet to identify it, if anyone has any ideas i would be pleased to hear it...
