Out of date

A couple of years ago, "North of the Sun" was a film in the Banff Mountain Film festival. It follows the story of two friends who decided to spend a winter inside the Arctic circle living on a beach, surfing. Mad.
Anyway, by watching this film, I discovered that any item in a shop past its best before date is allowed to be taken free of charge. My local shop is pretty good at putting 40% off stickers on the items before they go out of date, however not always.
This 1.5kg bag of organic potatoes would have cost 44Nok (£4.40), but it went out of date yesterday, so it was completely free!
I really like this initiative, as it's disgusting how much good food supermarkets throw away.
