No pot of gold

Today a trip Birding with my mate.
1st stop was Alkborough flats in search of a rare western swamphen but no sign of it so after  a couple of hours of searching we gave up. We then went on to Donna Nook  in search of a Red-flanked bluetail another new bird for me. Thankfully we got good views of it but didn't stay still long enough to get any shots of it , the same with the gold-crests that where in the area.
After that a trip further  down the coast to do a spot of sea watching where we saw a few sea birds flying out at sea so again no photo opportunities. While there we could see a band of rain out at sea which quickly headed our way causing us to get a little wet. I only had my camera phone to hand but managed to get a couple of quick shots of a lovely rainbow out over the sea.
