Fairy Tale Castle

Bonbaden: a little historical town near Frankfurt in Germany. This photo was taken at the end of our 16 Km walk through fantastic countryside. It was a very hot and sleepy day - except for the frenetic activity in the wheat fields. A great day to see combine harvesters in action, spewing out straw and dust. This was eagerly (excuse the slight pun) watched over by very large falcons with a wing span as big as your outstretched arms. A great aerial display of gliding, hovering and swooping; bad news for the little mice and voles though. Finished the walk back in the castle (Schloss) and delicious German ice creams. We earned these !
