Polish Plasterers

The Polish chaps who have been sub-contracted to do the plastering in the new bathroom have no truck with this working-7:30-until-4 nonsense.  They start at 8 and stop at 6.  And they do only stop at 6 and not inbetween.  Walls have been prepared for new tiles. The huge hole where the bath was isn't so huge.  And some new holes have appeared.  I'm sure there is a plan, I'm glad I'm not a part of it.

And I have an odd story for you.

I went to bed last night just before 11 - feeling tired and a bit cold.  I fell asleep quite quickly and dreamed a very Peter dream.

I had a HD full colour experience of my alarm going off at 6 and me waking and switching it off.  Next I decided I could just close my eyes for a moment and then get going.

Somehow this transferred over to concious me who woke after 10 minutes (I saw 10 past on the minute hand of my watch) and I sprung into action - brush teeth and then get in the shower. 

5 minutes later I was sitting on the bed, getting dressed and thinking - let's move, I have to be out of here by 25 past at the latest...

However, something felt odd - it was too quiet.

And so I checked my alarm - 2:15 in the morning.  And not 6:15 like normal.  That's quite a difference.  And given the adrenalin surge AND the restorative effect of the shower, I was AWAKE.

Took ages to get back to sleep and I'm still annoyed & curious about how that happened.
