At Amber Nook work on the veranda goes on.

In the morning we went to get one or two things for the job, it being  older peoples' discount day at B&Q! That meant that in the afternoon I could get on with staining the new joists. I got on quite well so should have them all done by Monday which is when they'll be needed.

Luckily, I was positioned under the shelter of the eves so I could continue to paint while it rained (see Extra). In a dry period I had a look around the garden for a blip so you get the smoketree today.

The Man seems to have spent all afternoon pulling nails out.
