Another Day at Whistler, British Columbia

We decided to abandon plans for Vancouver and stay another day at Whistler.  The day started out really cold but warmed up nicely by mid-afternoon.  

The highlight of our day was a 2 hour jeep tour on Blackcomb Mountain.  There were four adult men plus the driver crammed into the vehicle.  Needless to say, it was not comfortable. But the drive up to the top (~6000 feet) was worth a little discomfort.  See todays extra photos for a shot of the snow covered mountains.  

After our jeep ride, we jumped in the car and headed north to Pemberton, BC.  We stopped at One Mile Park (today's blip) and then drove another 30 minutes north where we saw beautiful open fields in front of some awesome hills and mountains (see today's extra photos). 

We are headed back to Vancouver in the morning and will be greeted with rain that is expected to last all day.  I'm thinking the Vancouver Aquarium will be our first stop.  Then figure out what to do for the rest of the day.
