Selfies from the Brink

Aristoteles

Aristoteles (or Totó) is our youngest. We rescued Aristoteles from the streets. We went for a walk, and suddenly there he was. He followed us for about twenty minutes. When it was time to return, I just couldn't leave him behind. He was visibly in a very bad condition: He was very thin, and his paws were a bloody mess. So we took him first to our veterinarian, where he received full treatment. Blood tests revealed that he had a severe tracker dog disease. His blood cell counts were down to a minimum.
Today, he's completely cured, though still a bit traumatized from the life on the streets. We have to be very gentle when we interact with him.
Aristoteles has no idea how small he is. He insists on calling our cat Tom (who's bigger than him) to a dogfight. Tom is not a very patient and magnanimous soul, so this never ends well for Totó.
Aristoteles was about seven months old when he found us.
