Visiting Simon Pele

On what was supposed to be my last day in Haiti, I went to visit my old colleagues in Simon Pele and finally went to church with Renette as promised! It was almost four hours long and as a new 'visitor' to the church, I was asked to stand in front of the 200+ congregation and give a small speech in Kreyol. Hard to do on little sleep!
