Orange Polenta cake

Really wanted candles in this so I could blow them out and make a wish but I cant locate them in the house so I made do with sparklers which I found near the bin (maybe to be thrown out?) they wouldn't light for more than a second so it was a bit of a damp squib but the cake tasted delicious.

Made myself a delicious meal tonight and have enjoyed a couple of glasses of white wine. Plan is bath and then some work before bed. Someone just phoned me and gave me some rather shocking news. I am hoping she is ok . . .
