Gracemere

Visiting friends in Rockhampton for a few days. Hence my poor commenting on your journals at the moment. I promise to catch up soon!

Today we visited the livestock sale yards at Gracemere. Noel, our friends husband, is a livestock salesman and every Friday for the last forty years he has gone to the sales at Gracemere to buy and sell. We were fascinated by the whole process and being an auctioneer is definitely an art! The bidding was so fast I don't know how they could tell what was happening.

I will have to back blip yesterday's entry because I haven't been able to get the image onto the computer for some reason!
