Calm before the Murderous storm...

It was a windy night last night.. Lots and lots of rain.. but this might be minor in compared to what may/or may not come..  In 1962 in Seattle the headline in the local paper said Murderous Storm Lases State.. 46 people lost their lives.. Winds in Seattle reached 82 mph /133 km/h on the Washington and Oregon coast reached 150 mph / 241 km/h...

Although right now they are not expecting that bad they are comparing the coming storm (peaking tomorrow evening) as the worst in over 50 years.. I hope not.. Many trees are down already, they primary highway into Seattle this morning at the peak of the commute had a 17 mile backup..

Yes my mom still has some gorgeous flowers still.. So in a break in the rain I ran out and snapped this photo...

In 2006 we lost power for 5 days.. So flashlights are ready, plenty of canned food, electronics charged and...

... just reported a small tornado touched down in Manzanita Oregon......
