Red, sweet and decadent

This beautiful dessert wine is made from grapes grown in the Nuy valley, close to Cape Town, South Africa. It's a fortified wine with a definite rich raisin taste.....and good "legs"
It's great in winter as an apperatif but I sneak the white muscadel in when I cook butternut, which we like sweet with a dash of vanilla.
Tonight we had cheese, biscuit, cold cuts and some crispy salad.....preceded by a small glass of Nuy muscadel.
