Apple Day

Today was Apple Day on Oswestry market with stalls selling apples and related items with apple pressing and morris dancing.

This is the stall belonging to Cambrian Heritage Railways Community Orchard. The orchard is run by volunteers that work there every week. I bought a selection of apples that they'd grown - a bargain at 20 pence each. We did Wassailing at the orchard in January - it must have worked!

I'm off to a ceilidh tonight, it will, make a change to dance rather than play!
