Kingswear

It took us a while to work out what to do today as the weather forecast said that it was going to rain.

We chose to go to Greenways, which although now owned by the National Trust it was the home of Agatha Christie. To get there we took the passenger ferry, then the steam train blipped yesterday and then we walked. The weather forecast was right and we got very wet.

There was only one train that we could get back so what with that time in mind and the weather, we didn't walk around the gardens.

We'll need to go back to do that.

The blip is Kingswear as we left it on the passenger ferry heading home and you can see Hercules steaming by to get ready to take the train out again.

As it's our last evening here we've been to our favourite fish and chip shop for chips and then after a walk, feeding the swans in the harbour, we've been for ice cream.

Home tomorrow. We've had a great holiday and have been so lucky with the weather.

Thank you for enjoying it with us
