Cross Country

My great niece, Sophia, a 6th grader, competes in Cross Country meets which are one mile runs. She came in first amongst all 6th graders (there were 17 schools represented) and 2nd overall! It was good to see her happily standing with team members after the race waiting for the medal ceremony. The top 10 in each grade, male and female, receive medals.
