Penguins

A trip to Robben Island today.

Fascinating history lesson, leavened by some of these little chaps - African  penguins, previously known as Jackass penguins.  There were also African Oyster catchers, hundreds of cormorants, lots of 'Ibis, and a glimpse of a tortoise.

On our return to the mainland, we spent some time wandering in the Waterfront area of Cape Town, and had dinner at a restaurant - I had a "duo of game" which turned out to be impala and gemsbok - very nicely cooked, very tasty.

We've been away in the Kruger Park for several days, with no wifi, so I'm behind with blips.  I will get to the back blips as soon as possible.
