Early this morning, as the sun began to rise, I took this picture on my run in the park near our home. As I pasted the flagpole, the words to The Star-Spangled Banner went through my mind. It is a very stirring song to hear. I love the final verse where it says "And this be our motto "in God is our trust" and the Star-Spangled Banner in Triumph shall wave over the land of the free and the home of the brave."
