Don't tell me it's a cul-de-sac

I'm glad I can swim or I might not have gone to the supermarket this morning, and I couldn't believe JJ had disappeared off to golf it was raining so heavily.  Mind you I hadn't been home more than half an hour before the sun was shining and it's been a pleasant day.

The leaves are beginning to fall off the trees and we've a little more sunlight in the garden.

I have a habit of pinching off the heads of the scabious and leaving the long stalks, so was amused to see this ladybird climbing to the top and having nowhere to go.  I bet it was cursing the sat-nav.
