Autumn Arrives in the Village

A really heavy rainfall started the day, so I resigned myself to catching up on household chores and ironing but by late the morning the clouds had gone and the sun was out.
After lunch I went for a lovely stroll over the fields ( this is the view looking back towards the village).......it was rather windy but not really cold, however there was not much wildlife about so I had to make do with a view today :-)
