Clematis stamens looking luscious

I can see why the bees and wasps and flies and other insects go for these.Of course nothing around when i was out there.

When I woke this morning it was blowing a gale so i thought there won't be any photos taken of the flowers today but it died down and came and went all day. Of course as soon as you see it calm and tear out up it comes again.

This is on the green clematis which has creamy white stamens and goes almost white eventually. I will try for a full flower on Friday. Masses of buds this year. The plant has been in now for about 10 or 12 years so time it gave a good display.
