Ancient and Modern

Today, I had to visit the dentist.  Our dentist is in Saffron Walden and after he had fixed a loose tooth, we went for a walk around Walden, having a coffee in the process.  During our walk I took pictures of some of the old buildings, in most instances there was a several hundred year old building, with a modern shop at the bottom, as in this picture, where ancient and modern are quite well mixed.
