Holiday

Angie had a days holiday. It was actually quite a good day, not as sunny as yesterday but still quite warm and dry.

Horses, well two of the three, have been strange of late. On Saturday Angie returned home after riding Sultan to report she was glad to still be alive. For the first time ever, he had bolted with her on board and she couldn't get him to stop. No known cause or reason. Luckily nothing happened and it was all fields and forest. Been about 25 years since she regularly got taken out for a ride by Asyr when we first got him.

Rosie has been off form for a few days, not wanting her feed and moving strangely. The photo shows her standing there looking like a cow with stomach ache. Angie had taken her along for the ride but the lameness continued so it was a walk more than anything. I met them on my way back from the walk with Flash who was on good form but apart from agreeing to be in the photo, he did not want to accompany them for the last 5 minutes home.
