Gay Abandon

With gay abandon walked a couple of miles from Stanbury - in good weather passing Ponden Reservoir and Hall and some glorious views

Then it started raining - torrentially - spent the next mile walking into it on open moorland - before deciding to abandon the walk and find a path back to car

Realising we were too wet to partake of refreshments on the way home - P picked us up half an hour after R had dropped every one off - to dry out and change - then drove us to the Brown Cow for said refreshments - which were eaten with gay abandon
