I like fire fighting equipment because it is well made, heavy duty and purpose built for the benefit of the community; fire trucks scratch a lot of itches for me.
That being said, it is a bit disconcerting for one to roll up to the front of one's house at 7 am and have the crew dismount looking like they mean business.
My good neighbor was ably assisted by the crew of this ladder truck and its accompanying ambulance.
