Six layers and a blanket

I managed to stay lovely and toasty whilst watching goalie training, thanks to multiple layers and a nice flask of tea.

Leo loved the zigzag challenge when they had to run and dive diagonally from left to right to 'save' balls laid out on the course.

We had a few more tears over maths homework as he didn't really understand it. He said he hadn't really understood at school but when he went to the teacher and said he was a bit confused he got into trouble as she said she wasn't having children coming up and saying they didn't understand things!

Needless to say that didn't help his confidence. It was short division using the bus stop method so all he needed to know is that he had to start with the number on the left and move along the row. He was just a bit confused about which number to start working with. He can now whizz along and work out the sums easily. Just wish she could have taken a minute to explain and he wouldn't have got so anxious, grrrrrr!
