This 'bird' was hovering over the area were I live and of course I grabbed my camera. :D I was lucky because it came around a couple of times before giving up. I later read in the news paper that a man had been shot in the leg and that the police were looking for the shooter with dogs and a helicopter. So, I got my answer to why it was hanging around for so long. I don't know if they caught the person who did this yet, but I have great faith in our police and am sure they'll get whoever it was.
