Action

Drat! Seems as though we may lose at least some of our sea view from the office. The land opposite, that we thought was being used as materials' storage space for a building site in the near vicinity, now looks like a building site in its own right. The guys next door think there are plans to build a storage block and yard. It was all go today - a couple of diggers in action, and a fence being erected around the site.

In the evening MrM went to a public meeting about the management of a nearby woodland, and I went to something completely different. It was advertised as a 'dance group', but turned out to be a rehearsal for a 'flash-mob' performance  at a local pre-Christmas event, involving singing, dancing and young children! Not entirely sure what I've let myself in for, but it could be fun and is a good way to meet people.

Janet came back from the meeting with MrM, brought some wine and stayed for a meal. A good evening, if a total failure on proceeding with the bathroom...
