I had a trip to the dentist this morning for the first of my root canal treatment. For some reason I had a very sudden drop in blood pressure after the local anaesthetic was injected, I felt really dreadful and very nearly fainted.  Thankfully I recovered sufficiently for the dentist to continue but I was very glad to get home and this afternoon had a quiet couple of hours looking at some maps and walking books in preparation for our holiday in The Lake District in a couple of weeks time.
