Good news/Bad News

The bad news is that I have been told that the parts to fix my 70-400 mm lens are on back order and aren't expected from Sony until Nov. 25, which is right before Thanksgiving (no one does any work for 5 days), so I am not likely to get my lens back until early December.  The good news is that I have rented a 150-600mm lens for the next 7 days, as I have been without a long lens since late August and am going through serious bird withdrawal.  This little titmouse was my fix for today. The lens is very nice and I am wondering if it should be a keeper...... I am sure I can rationalize keeping it, but I am not so sure I can convince my other half that I need it.  :-)
