Today is a new day...

Touristy

Mr Q and I went on the Central Station Tour today. It was really interesting, a bit smelly and quite moving to hear some of the stories of the Station, particularly when it was used as a mortuary during the First World War.

We popped up to the Theatre Royal to pick up some tickets and took the opportunity to explore the viewing gallery which gave us some pretty good views over the city.

Semi-Q met us later and we had a quick dinner and on to see Scottish Opera's The Marriage of Figaro Unwrapped which was an hour long performance and chat about the music, scenery, costumes, backstage work etc.

Home and time to catch up with Bake Off.
