late nights

The roles have reversed, I'm putting the long working hours in and Dr Lizi has finally a chance to relax. She's so close to really being a doctor now. 6th year - her trainee intern year - has already started and she is doing really well. 5th year went superbly well - a distinction pass for the year.

And me? One more year of the job to go, I've done well in the course part of the masters so far (A, B, B) and we're doing some good work getting people riding bikes. Hopefully finishing off our first report for that on Friday...

Then we have Kurt and Machiko's wedding, some house cleaning, some more alterations to the van, some last minute gardening, picking up Dr Lizi's surprise christmas present, then we're off to the West Coast for Christmas.

I'll wish you all a great Christmas now in case i don't get to blip for a few days. Have the best time, try to let the stressful bits wash over you and enjoy the sun (or the snow if you aren't in the antipodes).
