The Iris

This iris looks totally different in the shade compared to how it looks here in the sunshine. In shade it looks to be rich shades of brown... whereas in the sun the petals are lovely maroon colours. I am delighted to have it in our garden. The are several stems of flowers which are heavy and needed staking this evening.
I watched the third and final USA Presidential Debate this afternoon. I really feel for America at the moment!
