Common Earth Ball

Spotted fungus while I was walking the dogs through the park this morning. According to Google this poisonous fungus is similar in appearance to a warty potato.  The dogs are always happy to snuffle through the damp vegetation and fallen leaves and I just have to go where they go and sometimes, like today, we find something special.
