Cakes

I am still on a baking theme after yesterday evening.  This cookery book belonged to my mum and the inscription written on it indicates she bought it a few months before she was married.  Most of the photographs are in black and white with only a few full page images in colour and they have a lovely faded look to them.  I am going to try out some of the recipes, but I won't be wearing an apron which matches the kitchen curtains.
