Mam Tor

It was a bit cloudy first thing, and we drove round to Castleton to visit Peveril Castle. It is above the town and has a good view of mam Tor and the low hills round to Win Hill. The weather gradually improved, so we drove up Winnats Pass and parked by the road, before walking up Mam Tor. The blip is looking South West from the top of the Derbyshire countryside. It’s pleasant without being spectacular country and very busy. The extra is of some of the 20 plus parapentes flying in the afternoon sunshine.
