I pass this tree now and again. It sits in the middle of a number of large fields and is always a joy to look at.  You always know what time of year it is when you zoom past on the busy dual carriageway that runs close to it.
The better view of it is taken from the dual carriageway but it's illegal to stop and take a photo from there. The foothills of the Grampian mountains are the back drop from that angle.
