Boston bound!

Did the beautiful 8 hr drive to Boston today in a convoy of rowers. We spent the night on the outskirts in Framingham (of the famous Framingham Nurses medical study). It was such a scenic drive as the fall foilage was at its peak. Unfortunately we went through many pockets of rain so i couldnt capture any decent shots. It was alot of fun stopping at the travel centres and having pot luck meals. I had baked 2 bread wheels: 1 savory/pesto and 1 sweet/cinnamon & sugar. They were a hit and fit well with the turkey stew one rower brought to share. After checking in to our hotel we all met at the sports bar for a great meal. We are here for my sweetie to compete in the Head of the Charles rowing regatta. This photo is from the restaurant foyer and i loved all the actual size coloured baseballs that make up the US flag. The baseball bats surround the reception desk.
