flower of leaves

Not sure if this counts for the FlowerFriday challenge or not. But it's a flower of sorts and the leaves are such wonderful colours. I collected these this morning when we were out walking with Nelly and Sid carefully selecting the flat ones so they would look like petals.

Tidying up this afternoon after the visit of the 3 tornadoes on Wed/Thurs and sorting out making Nelly a little hat. I've exhausted our hat stock now and I noticed a pretty one on the telly last week.
