Crocus thomasii

Another crocus making it's first appearance here.

A member of the Saffron Group of crocuses, the red style branches not as long as in the saffron crocus but still typical for this group and just as useful.

A day spent preparing for our week away .... but how come we have not actually packed our bags after all that work!!
