Curried Beans

I love curry. There's a homeyness in it for me. 

I grew up on Indian food from the time I was about five or six years old until I moved in with my father when I was 15. My step father made Indian food all the time, and my mother eventually learned how to make some dishes. After my step father (I use that term loosely, because to this day we still talk regularly) and mother broke up, she still made the food he taught her how to cook.

Sitting on a bed of basmati rice with some mango chutney... this was perfect. Picture perfect, no doubt.
