Proud of our university

This week brought a huge storm into our politics. That little laughing chap full of wisdom, compassion, and love called Dalai Lama was the main reason for this storm.
I admire this man the most of all people living on this planet so the storm hit me too and it hurt to be Czech.
1. Dalai Lama had a public talk in Prague
2. Our Minister of culture met him later this week.
3. Chinese threatened our leaders.
4. Four main state representatives including our president supported territorial integrity of China and condemned meeting him. There was some unnecessary servility expressed.
5. Czech universities raised a Tibetan flag at 5 to 12.
6. President changed his list of state honors to be awarded this year and crossed out a Holocaust survivor who is an uncle of our minister of culture.
It all makes me sick and feeling ashamed to be a Czech citizen...

I wish times changed soon, before it is too late.
