The Eagle

The (rather well-fed) Eagle of Perth symbolises the 19th Century trade between Perth and the Baltic.

This is one of the sculptures along the banks of the River Tay in the centre of Perth - and our wander along the riverside was much needed after a very slow drive up from Oxford.  (If anyone is looking for a traffic cone, I suspect they are almost all on the M6).
