A life on the ocean wave

Off at 11 am to head south and around a neighbouring island, aiming for a harbour called Kalamos. Lunch at a pretty little cove with a ruined village - most of the Ionians islands were devastated by an earthquake in 1953. At Kalamos the harbour was full so all sorts of messing about to sort out an anchorage off the main pier, including Austen swimming ashore with a rope. A pretty little place. I slept on the deck after a bad night the night before and spent most of the night watching the rocks just out the stern of the boat....
