whalley abbey

went to whalley looking for a sun hat and spent some time in the abbey grounds and walking by the river. how often do we ignore what is on our doorsteps?
best of all had a farm ice on the way home - with a flake of course.
memories are made of this - ordinary days doing ordinary things.
tomorrow it is back to the less ordinary!!
