Waterside Woolen Mill

Today Osuzanna and I joined a local camera club trip to Waterside Woolen Mill in rural Pennsylvania, about two hours from home.  The mill was built in 1806 and operated until 1960.  Approximately 20 years ago woolen blankets were produced again from this location, and the current owner wishes to keep the mill as authentic as possible.  Although unheated and very rustic, the three floors of the large building are full of old tools, machinery, yarn and miscellaneous equipment.  It was quite a change for me to take photos in the dimly lit rooms on a tripod, compared to searching for wildlife in the great outdoors.  I ventured from the norm even further by editing some shots in black and white.  All in all it was a fun and educational experience.  Thanks Suzanne!
