Half Asleep

Stopped off at this spot down by the River Forth on the way to work again. The light in the mornings is now improving from the harsh summer light that we have (occasionally) had recently tempting me to stop off for an early morning shoot. I must have been half asleep this morning as I nearly lost a shoe in the estuary mud....think the Owl was half asleep also as I almost managed to step right on it before I realised I was there and flew off....managed to fire off a few frames before I fully woke up to what it was!
