Edinburgh Castle, autumn leaves

After a morning of blogging, Mr hazelh and I popped up to town to make some purchases. We came home with a pair of trousers, a pack of knickers, a pair of 'stomping' shoes (Ecco, £8 in a charity shop), and a guitar tuner. Only one of these items was for Mr hazelh...

I blipped this beautiful tree in Princes Street Gardens when we cut through from Princes Street to reach the guitar shop in the Grassmarket.

This evening we were guests of Jack and Katharine. They served a beautiful dinner of venison salad, monkfish with lentils, Knoydart bramble crumble, and cheese.

Exercise today:  walking 16,876 steps (to town and back, to Jack and Katharine's and back).
