Steaming Day

Train out today carrying people down the line to the big train sheds where  craft stalls and food stalls were happening.
They appeared to be really busy, which is needed as the entry fees pay to keep it afloat.
Our big steam engine is out of action at the moment awaiting repairs. There is very stringent testing on all their engines , they have to meet the same criteria as all railways.
It is always great to see happy families riding the train and going down to the big sheds where there is a little cinema where old fashioned movies are shown. At the railway station is a interesting little museum.
Railway enthusiasts from all around the world visit our little town. Today there was an MG rally visiting. Some beautiful cars amongst them.
Tomorrow their are families with terminally ill children being hosted for a day out. They will have a ride on the train and lunch at a local café. Whilst there I am going to take family photos for them. It will be a big day for them and me
